OBJECTIVES
The
Base-10 Math System contained within this math workbook in written and/or
pictorial form, was specifically designed and developed:
- To demonstrate
the overall simplicity of the arithmetic operations, and the problem
solving process involved with addition, subtraction, multiplication,
and division.
- To
provide the math student the opportunity to use his or her God given
mental ability, to perform systematically all of the required arithmetic
operations more proficiently.
- To
improve the math student's overall accuracy, performance and speed;
thus helping the math student to become more certain, and more confident
of the solutions to any given basic math problem.
- To
develop the math student's overall ability and skill, to solve any
given basic math problem, without going through all the written calculations.
- To
motivate and encourage the math student, to acquire gradually the
ability to perform efficiently the arithmetic operations of basic
math.
- To
offer the math student new, exciting, and innovative Base-10 Math
methods, that will surely make it easier to evaluate and determine
the solution for any given basic math problem.
- To
eliminate the math student's dependency, towards using a math calculator
and/or a computer to solve any given basic math problem.
- To
build and strengthen the math student's confidence, to solve all the
required arithmetic operations of basic math; thus providing the student
the opportunity, to reach his or her potential in all aspects of their
education and life.
It
should be noted, that the A B C's of Base-10 Math relates to the rudiments
of this new math system. It also signifies that the math student will
Always Be Confident; will Always Be Correct; and will Always Be Certain
of all the answers to any given basic math problem.
